About Nanha Safar
A small studio, for a large kind of love.
Nanha Safar means little journey. We started with a single question: what if the most important year of a family's life had a beautiful place to live?
We are a small studio in India, making one thing at a time: slowly, patiently, and with care. Every journal is a companion for the years when memory is soft and fleeting and everything matters.
Our work is a quiet act of preservation, for parents, grandparents, and the children who will one day open these pages and meet the little person they once were.
Why we made it
Made here, for families here.
The baby books we found came from far away. Beautiful, but not ours. None had a page for the naming day, or the first grain of rice, or the first Diwali. So we made one that did.
It is printed in India, in small batches, by a team that wanted this book to exist for their own families first. We would rather make one thing slowly and well than many things in a hurry.
